Royal Enfield Classic 500 Squadron Blue edition launched; Pays tribute the Indian Air Force
Royal Enfield classic 500 Review/battle green review: Royal Enfield is associated with arms forces for the years and with a view to paying tribute to its war-time presence, launched a new variant of its Royal Enfield Classic 500 in Squadron Blue color yesterday.

The new variant features existing Royal Enfield Classics 500 that are available in colours Black, Silver, and Tan. The new colour has got a clean matte blue finish. It has the five-speed gearbox and is powered by a 499 cc air-cooled single-cylinder Twin spark engine that produces 22.7bhp and 41.3Nm.
Royal Enfield wanted a colour that reflects genuine armed forces heritage and post-war appeal. For that, it took inspiration from Indian Air Force.
Royal Enfield was used by British Army during World Wars. Indian army had ordered 800 Royal Enfield motorcycles in 1952. Manufacturing of Royal Enfield started in 1955. Royal Enfield also is being used by Air Force Police since the 1950s.
