BGE Online Payment

You can pay your BGE bill over the phone. You can pay the bill amount through a checking account, debit card or master card, American express, discover or visa credit card. Payment through visa card applies to residential customers only.
There is a service fee of a flat $2 for residential customers, whereas commercial customers have to pay 3.2% of their bill amount. To pay the bill, call 1.888.232.088. It is a very convenient method; you will be instructed through an automated response system.

Pay In Person
You can make your BGE bill payment at America’s cash Express and Global Express payment centres. You have to keep your account number with you.
You have to pay a processing fee of $1.5 if you pay at America’s cash express locations except for the two locations: 407 W. Baltimore St., 21201 and 1312 Eastern Blvd., 21221 where you don’t have to pay any fees.
If you pay before 3:00 pm, your payment will be reflected to your account on the same day. There is a fee of $1.25 at Global Express locations.
Pay by Mail
You can pay your bill by mail. You have to send a self-addressed envelope enclosing a bill along with a check or money order. You can pay even partial bills.

Personal Payment Plans
If you have your BGE past due balance due to financial difficulties, you can consider a payment plan. Qualified customers can pay in instalments. To qualify for a personal payment plan, you have to satisfy the following conditions.
- You must have an active residential BGE account meaning your service is not turned off for not paying the bill.
- You total amount due must not be more than $5000.
- You don’t have any currently active payment plan.
- You are not a defaulted BGE customer on a payment plan in past 18 months.
- You have to pay a down payment in 5 days in order to qualify for payment rearrangement.
