BSNL Now Gifts Its Users 1 GB at Just Rs. 1 Through New Plan
BSNL 1 GB Data at Just Rs. 1: The launch of Jio by Reliance created much news and why not, the package is created quite attractive to gain such hype. As announced by Mukesh Ambani, Reliance is all set to provide the lowest data rate in the entire world, giving LTE data for Rs. 50 per GB.
BSNL has now launched a new plan called Unlimited BB 249 starting from September 9, 2016. It will give 2Mbps speed with 300 GB. According to this plan, the cost of 1 GB will be less than rupees 1.
Chairman of BSNL, Anupam Shrivastav said, “The plan will enhance the customer experience towards wireline broadband services and attract new users to experience BSNL broadband services.” He further added that”Under this plan, customers can download unlimited Broadband data without bothering about any data limit. BSNL shall offer 2 Mbps speed under this plan,” he added.
However the offer is to attract new users and Mr. Shrivastav added that “Since this is a promotional offer, the customer will get benefits of 300 GB of FUP until six months. Later, the customer will be shifted to a more regular broadband plan.”
So if you are a regular internet user this new plan by BSNL is quite attractive and beneficial. Suppose if you are a regular internet user and uses 2Mbps through other broadband services you will have to pay something around Rs. 1500 which is five times the price, what actually BSNL is offering. No doubt company is providing this offer for six months but thereafter too, the cost is less as compared to other providers. So it is up to you to decide what to do. Choose between what you feel is best for you.
No doubt many think that this offer of Rs. 1 per GB has come up as a result of the launch of JIO but BSNL has a previous history too of providing such good deals to their users.
