LG G5 Goes Up for Pre-Bookings in India at Rs. 52,990
South Korean Company LG on Friday announced that its G5 flagship phone will be available for pre-orders in India from May 21 to May 30. The phone is expected to launch on 1st June. It is priced at Rs 52,990. Potential buyers can pre-order it at mobile stores, LG-branded shops and at Flipkart.
LG has also launched modules or add-ons called the LG Friends that can be attached to the new LG G5. One module is LG Cam Plus camera that adds physical buttons for camera operations. Another one is a Hi-Fi Plus module which is a portable Hi-Fi DAC. It can be used as a standalone portable DAC or can be attached to the G5 to enable 32-bit audio playback.
LG will provide companion device, LG Cam Plus free along with the smartphone if ordered during the specified pre-booking period. LG is likely to showcase the LG G5 companion devices in India that includes LG 360 VR, LG 360 CAM, LG Rolling Bot, LG Tone Platinum, LG Smart Controller, H3 by B&O Play and LG Friends Manager.
The LG G5 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. It sports a 5.3-inch QHD 1440×2560 pixels display that features always-on display technology. The always-on display continuously displays time, notifications, battery status and other useful information. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded through a microSD card. It comes with a 2800mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
The new LG flagship phone is equipped with 16 MP rare cameras and 8 MP front cameras. The camera lenses are the widest available in any smartphone, one is a standard 78-degree lens and another one is a 135-degree wide angle lens. The powerful made wide angle lens makes it much easier to capture taller structure, large groups and more landscape which makes photography a much pleasurable experience. The LG G5 provides connectivity to 4G LTE, USB Type-C port compatible with USB 3.0 standard, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth.
The G5 sports metal body and come in attractive Silver, Gold, Pink and Titan colour options. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
