A Hyderabad based smart devices manufacture, Smartron, announced their first smartphone called tphone. The new smartphone, tphone, was launched by Sachin Tendulkar in presence of Telangana’s IT minister Kt Rama Rao. The phone is powered by tron ecosystem which was showcased at New Delhi announcement event held in April. In the same event Sachin Tendulkar launched Smartron’s first hybrid tablet called tbook.

The tphone has a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p resolution display with corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. It supports 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The phone runs on the Android Marshmallow based interface. It has 13 megapixel image sensor on the rear and 5MP front facing module. The smartphone will be available in four colors- Grey, Blue, Pink and orange.
