Taylor Shift, Her Early Life
Taylor Alison Swift was born to Andrea and Scott Kingsley Swift on December, 1989 in Reading city of Pennsylvania States of the United States. Her mother gave her a gender neutral name with a belief that it would help her have a business career. Taylor’s grandmother was an opera singer and she followed her footsteps. She started singing at local events at the age of 9 and at the age of 11 she even sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at a Philadelphia 76ers game. She also started writing song at the age of 12 as well as started learning guitar too.

In the year 2008 she released another album “Fearless” which turned out to be a great success and became biggest selling album in 2009 in the United States. It claimed four Grammy Awards to her praise. There was no looking back followed by third album “Speak Now” in the year 2010 and fourth albums “Red” in 2012. More than one million copies of the albums were sold in the US in the first week itself. Again “Mean” from the album “Speak Now” won her two Grammy Awards. Singles “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble” from Red were acclaimed a lot worldwide. She released her fifth album 1989 which was pop-focused, and it broke all the selling records of previous 12 years. One more time she won three Grammy Awards for it making her the only female to win Grammy Award for Album of the Year twice.
Taylor Swift has also been acclaimed for her song writing and she has been honoured by the Nashville Songwriters Association and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2013, she was honoured with the CMA Pinnacle Award for her achievements as a country music performer and “positive impact” on country music.
She has earned name and fame and her achievements include ten Grammy Awards, one Emmy Award, 22 Billboard music awards and many more. Swift has also acted as supporting actress in feature films Valentine’s Day and The Giver .
