LeEco and Coolpad Jointly Launch New Smartphone Cool1 Dual with Dual Rear Camera
LeEco and Coolpad are known Chinese telecommunication companies. In past few days, there was news of LeEco and Coolpad working together on a smartphone. Finally, the secret is out and both the companies have announced their first smartphones as a joint venture in Cool series. The new smartphone will be called Cool1. The new phone will be available at starting range of CNY 1,099 which is around Rs. 11,100.
The phone could be ordered on Coolpad website or LeMall and Jd.com. The handset will go on sale from 24 August onwards. Cool1 is cool pads first phone that will have a dual rear camera and large battery.
The new Cool1 dual is launched in three storage variants. The handset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is available at CNY 1,099, while the handset with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at CNY 1,699 that is around Rs. 15,100. Another available variant that has 4GB Ram and 64GB storage will sell at CNY 1,699 that is Rs 17,100.
Cool1 Dual has 5.5 inches full HD IPS display having 450 nit brightness and NTSC color gamut to 72 percent. It has a large 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging. It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. Cool, 1 dual has dual SIM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The main feature of Cool1 is a dual rear camera. It has two 13 megapixel camera at the back. The camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual tone LED flash, 720 slo-mo and 4K video recording.
The new Cool1 Dual also has an 8-megapixel front camera that has f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens. Phones connectivity option includes GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB type C port.
The phone will be available in three colors Rose Gold, Silver and Gold.
LeEco has become the largest shareholder of Coolpad with around 28.9 percent shares.LeEco wishes to increase its sale in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America with the help of brilliant terminals of Coolpad.
Many other companies have started manufacturing dual cameras on the rear. LG, Honor 8, Xolo Black have launched dual rear cameras before. For now, Cool1 has been launched in China. We hope the arrival of same in India soon.
