TVS Launches New Edition of 2016 TVS Star City+

Chennai based two and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor on Tuesday launched a new ‘Chocolate Gold Edition’ of the StaR City+ commuter motorcycle. Here we discuss on TVS star city + showroom price, onroad price & reviews.

The special edition is very attractive motorcycle in a combination of gold, brown and tan colours. It also comes with gold-coloured alloy wheels. The matte brown colour combined with the ante of style further up with gold provides a stylish and premium look to the motorcycle and buyers will find it attractive. It will be available in other premium colours like Matte Titanium Grey Edition and the attractive Gold Edition model too.

Arun Siddharth, Head of Marketing – Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company said in a statement, “We believe colours are a testament to the rider’s personality and play a significant role in the purchase decision.” The company feels this new edition will appeal to the stylish yet pragmatic riders who want to add a dash of style to their ride experience.”

The new variant is powered by the same single-cylinder air-cooled 109.7cc engine that produces 8.30bhp at 7,000 rpm and its four-speed gearbox provides 8.70 Nm of torque at 5,000. It is a perfect combination of smooth performance, power and fuel economy. It features digital fuel gauge, analogue speedometer, long wheelbase, wide rear tyre.

Earlier in the beginning of May, TVS had launched Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs edition. Anam Hashim, a female rider reached Khardung La Pass with on this new Scooty Zest and it became the first 110cc scooter to achieve this. The new ‘Chocolate Gold Edition’ of the StaR City+ has been launched to commemorate this achievement.

The new Star City+ is currently available at select TVS showrooms and is priced at Rs 49,234(Ex-Showroom Delhi).

TVS Motor has registered 16% sales growth in a last year.
