  • You must lose 5 to 7% of your body weight. If you are obese, you must take steps to reduce your weight and maintain it.
  • You must take moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity for 150 minutes a week that includes 75 minutes of vigorous activity. You can take half an hour’s brisk walk a day. Some muscle strengthening activity is also advisable.
  • You have to make some dietary changes to your body that includes: consume whole grain food and avoid processed food, eat leafy vegetables, avoid sugary drink, eat less red and processed meat.
